Tremors Felt in Kay Elle
I work on the 20th floor of a high rise building so I felt the tremors or more accurately, the swaying of the office building today. Some time before lunch and around 2PM too.
It was rather apparent with the second tremor seemingly even stronger.
I wonder what the proper reaction should be in case of earthquakes. Should I try to leave the building? Should I stand under a doorway arch? Or should I crouch next to a hard furniture like a desk?
Maybe we'll all just run around like headless chicken and yell 'AAAAIIIEIEEEEEEE!!!!!'

And lately, the building crash in Turkey...most of the bodies were found in the stair well anyway.
Our buildings should be quake-proofed...should be...
our buildings are not quake-proof. there is no need for that here..thats why most (or all) are not. furthermore, they won't invest because it is $ and earthquakes are rare here.
