Saw 'Say Anything' today....it's a romantic comedy starring John Cusack, Joan Cusack, Lili Taylor and Ione Skye. It's a feel good movie...I saw 'High Fidelity' first tho....so this is sorta like a prequel to the 1989 'Say Anything'.
Next, was Master & Commander....Did i tell you i LOVE sailing ships? Well, i do....tall ships especially....something about those sails....there's beauty in motion....

Here's an interesting website. You may ask questions and get it answered by people from around the world...advice from total strangers. Intriguing! You may also answer questions posed by other people...
So here's the question i posed: "Why are Nice Guys unattractive?"
The results: The consensus seems to be that they are no challenge. Easy to manipulate, use, and no fun...There's hope though...here's a quote from one of the more meaningful replies:
"The trick is being yourself and your sweet nature without being a doormat...Just hang in there for your idea of a good girl, and don't compromise."
YES! Don't compromise....now if i could only get that good girl to like me enough! HAHA!
All that said, let me stress i do NOT think i'm a Nice Guy at all. While i aspire to be one, sometimes i just don't know what overcame me when i started giving people shit. To kick my own ass further, i mistreat people i CARE about also!
That's enough self-bashing! Anyway, i promise i'll reveal my finer points in a later blog. When i feel like it that is. Ciao for now.

So, HOW am i doing in the Here and Now? I've been asking myself that question frequently...I need to stop and evaluate my condition. Not good i'm afraid...I've been really inefficient lately. A decline in my academic performance, financially unfree and i've even treated people real badly. No wonder i can't get restful sleep!
Anyway, i've gone back to church too. I really feel uneasy using God as an escape hatch but i'll try my darndest to return to Him whenever i'm astray ....for a recharge of my faith! Why is it i feel like i do not need Jesus whenever i'm happy??!

The birds sang this morning!!! Today, i woke up to the sounds of birdsong outside my room window. It's amazing how these birds warbled and sang their heart out! There were joyous trills and whistles as if in answer to each other. Hmm, how come i've never noticed this before? Or is it especially for today? Maybe God's trying to cheer me up...
I hate to start this blogsite off like this but lately i've been kinda depressed. Heartbroken to be precise. I'm in a contemplative state these days. I'm sure the people around me find me sorta 'blur' but give me time ok? I need more time to make things right. Trying to recover from a 3 yr+ unrequited love.
If life's full of highs and lows then i'm in a rut right now. Gotta climb back up and regain my self-esteem and fighting spirit. I'm determined to recover my courage enough to overcome the phobia attached with starting relationships. Actually in my case, i've never ever had a relationship with anyone before. Nothing official or assured. Sigh! There are so many lonely people in this world...Guys really do have it worse in this regard, we have to risk rejection at every turn.
One last thing: The friendship with her was immensely pleasurable while it lasted. Sure, 'nothing' happened but it was a real high doing nice things for somebody. I hope i never stop doing nice things for people...i'm in constant danger of turning bitter and ugly. Must strive to be as gentlemanly as possible...as one gets older...

For non-Malaysians, Low Yat is a shopping mall that serves as a haven for tech enthusiasts. This is an unofficial website set up by fans. Pretty cool, coz the forums are active and provide interesting local info. Enjoy!

I'm interested in a wide range of topics. (i'm fascinated by all sorts of things) Really, i used to fantasize about being a Renaissance Man of sorts when i was a kid. Alas, that's nigh impossible nowadays since the knowledge and science of mankind has increased greatly since the age of Leonardo da Vinci! Everyone has to specialize in some way and nobody's a polymath.
Back to me then, i've chosen to specialize in computers or more accurately, anything related to Information Technology. That doesn't mean i don't have hobbies or other interests. Of course i appreciate all forms of art and music too. Wish i have more time for such pursuits though. I play the piano and enjoy making music/singing even more than merely listening to it. Sometimes envy my friends who can draw very well. Then again, i'm sure they practiced a lot at it and even my so-called 'talents' are merely acquired skills.
Hmm, i've gone on a tangent here...guess i'll just end this blog now...My original intent was just to introduce myself. So this is who i am...in a nutshell.
Oh..and one last thing i'd like to share: i'm full of surprises. Oftentimes i felt that people judge me too soon. I guess only those who know me and those who WILL know me has the real chance to find out the WHOLE me eh? ;-) That's all for now...signin' off!
